I'm building my terrarium

I level it out and tamp it down a bit so it's nice and flat.

I lightly tamp and create a slight slope so that the back of my terrarium is higher than the front.

I lightly moisten with a spray bottle.

I soak the moss, then wring it out like a sponge.

Then I place it on my substrate and press down on it to ensure good contact.

I remove the plant from its pot, take off the soil and rinse its base with water.

I make a hole with my finger or a small tool and insert the base into it, being careful not to damage it (if necessary, I move the moss aside).

I moisten the base with a spray bottle.

I decorate my terrarium with small gravel, slate, or pozzolana, depending on my preference.

I moisten the surface with a spray bottle until the substrate becomes damp.

Arrange a layer of pozzolan sand or gravel at the bottom of the terrarium. Level and lightly tamp to obtain an even surface.

Pour a slightly sloping substrate, with the back slightly raised compared to the front for a natural effect. Press gently. Lightly moisten with a spray bottle.

Soak the moss for 2 to 3 minutes, then squeeze it firmly like a sponge. Place it on the substrate, pressing down to ensure even contact over the entire surface.

Remove the plant from its pot, remove all of the soil, and rinse the roots with clear water. Create a hole in the moss and substrate with your finger or a thin tool. Gently insert the plant (spread the moss apart if necessary). Moisten at the roots.

Customize the surface with decorative gravel, slate, or pozzolana as desired. Mist until the substrate is visibly moist on the surface.
